The Carlsbad Plaza is a luxurious 5star Spa & Wellness hotel, opened in December 2005 with a capacity of 140 rooms and 20 Suites. The hotel is located in the quiet ambiance of the spa area of Karlovy Vary, in the vicinity of the spa facility Lázně I. (Spa I).

In April 2007 the Hotel qualified to become a Member of the Leading Hotels of the World, the most prestigious Luxury Hotel Group of the World, by fulfilling 1500 Standards.

Then, in May 2007 the Carlsbad Clinic, located in the adjoining building of the Carlsbad Plaza, opened.

Nowadays, the hotel provides a relaxational atmosphere and connects the historical architecture of the building with modern facilities. Carlsbad Plaza has the largest Spa facility in a Hotel in the entire region providing Medical Spa treatments as well as relaxational and beauty procedures. Carlsbad Plaza offers its guests three Restaurants: An international grand buffet restaurant, the 'SORRENTO', an Asian restaurant with a Laosian Chef at 'SWEET ORIENT' and a French gourmet restaurant with a French Chef at 'LA BOHÈME''. The modern conference facilities are equipped with latest technical equipment and adapt to the individual needs.
